The Spiritual Renewal Center is continuing to grow its initiative in eco-spirituality, calling us to recognize ourselves as a part of the natural community as the Scriptures and mystics have encouraged us to do for centuries, and to respond wholeheartedly from that communion. Join with us as we delve deeper into our most grounded and rooted element, earth. 

We will be reflecting on what Ecologist Thomas Berry imagines the earth is asking of us in his poem... 

“Earth’s Desire” 

To be seen in her loveliness 

To be tasted in her delicious fruits 

To be listened to in her teaching 

To be endured in the severity of her discipline 

To be experienced as the material source from which we’ve come 

The destiny to which we return... 

We will gather on Wednesday, April 10th from 10:00- 11:30 (just in time to prepare for Earth Day!) 

Mary Colleen Sinnott is a long-time friend of SRC, a volunteer chaplain at St. Joseph’s Hospital, a member of St. Lucy’s, and a member of the Church of the Woods, Canterbury, NH.
